Saltwater Sandals

After lemming for a pair for years, I finally bought Saltwater Sandals! Partly why I haven't bought a pair is because it's not readily available in Manila. The very few sellers also run out of stock agad. So I exercised my click-click-click skills, bought a pair online and had them shipped via My-Shopping Box.

They do live up to the hype - so comfortable and no need to break in. Should've bought them sooner! :)

Sold on Gum-Soled

I'm mighty proud of that title haha. :)

I scored my first pair of Anthology shoes yesterday. While I've read raves about Anthology, I've stayed away from it because I find the brand a bit, well, expensive. Luckily, they are on sale now at The Ramp Trinoma.




While the gum soles remind me of the shoes that boys used to wear in high school (circa 1994-1998), I find this pair mighty cute. And the gum soles are a dream to walk on (commuted via LRT, walked the length of UN Ave., took the shuttle, FX and jeep, whew!) I like the gum soles so much I think I want to buy all the gum-soled ones on sale! Check out anthowarehousale.com :)

Payless-er

Payless Shoe Source has become one of my fave shoe haunts because the shoes are remarkably sturdy compared to other brands in the same price range. I hate shoes with soles that crack in the middle after a short time. My Payless shoes, even the flats, have thick soles that seem to withstand all the walking I do.

Since I commute to work, I wear flats 99% of the time. Lately though, my feet hurt, especially my heels. I figured it must be the constant close contact with the ground. I was thisclose to buying FitFlops but I could not reconcile the fact that they are basically tsinelas with the price tag. I resolved to buy low low heels.

So I went to Payless. They are currently on sale, and within minutes, I zoomed in on this pair worth... wait for it... P490!!!



With that price, I won't feel so bad running it to the ground! I heart Payless! :)
